A simple sales enquiry with Authorize.net gets a 'dont give a shit' response.

My inquiry was simple. Their response was irrelevant.
I let it fly.

To: Authorize.net
Please advise on a plan that suits my needs.
I would like to have a monthly fee with no transaction fees. And/or a
standard transaction fee e.g. $0.20 per transaction and not a % of selling
cost.
Please let me know, pricing etc.

Sounds reasonable enough right?

Thank you for contacting Authorize.Net!

Your Merchant Service Provider (MSP) is the company that acts as your Financial Institution. They deposit funds into your bank account and maintain your merchant account with Visa and MasterCard. They are also the company that charges you the percentage discount rate on your batch settlements. They may also assess transaction processing limits on your merchant account.

The role of Authorize.Net® in the overall credit card processing procedure does not allow us to view who's your Merchant Service Provider. Please take a look at your merchant statement, you should be able to find who is your Merchant Service Provider, along with their contact information.

WTF is this, did I just waste 1.5 minutes reading two paragraphs that are completely irrelevant sales talk? Maybe they get to the point eventuall..

Your merchants can assure their customers that transactions are being processed by one of the most trusted names in the payments industry and potentially boost sales by displaying the free Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal on their Web sites. No! A complete waste of 3 minutes! I am fuming, this clear sales talk in response to a genuine enquiry.

Your response is typical of a company with probably an Indian support team that replies in templated form and doesn't answer the questions asked, and probably does not give-a-shit.
Thumbs down, this email will be published on several blogs and forums reviewing your customer service.

You are uninspired people.
